Rich just got out from surgery. They found a lot of infection. It has even traveled into the growth plate. It really is serious. He could have one leg longer than the other, so they are worried. They also put a PICC line in that will stay for 4 to 6 weeks. A soft cast in on his leg right now and he will get a hard cast in a week. His teacher gave him a ticket for a speedy recovery. He took it into surgery with him to show the doctor.
