Black Friday at Grandpas in his tool chest

Uncle Joe brought up the famous boat building tool box. Marybeth and I were the dissecting the insides. We took pictures. Teri and Jerry came down and filmed all afternoon. Grandpa told stories about the tools. It was as exciting as opening grandmas hope chest.

Thanksgiving Day

It was fun to go to Grandma's turkey breakfast. The kids came up and we had a feast. We got to see the new baby. It was really fun.

Thanksgiving Pies for the Boys

Thanksgiving Pie

A Thanksgiving Tradition. Every kid gets their own pie on Thanksgiving morning. This year we have made lots of pumpkin pies. We have made a peanutbutter pies, banana creme pies, cherry cheesecake, fruit topped cheesecake pie, and stan's surprize pie. Tomorrow will be fun!

Phil with Twilight T-shirt

I got this t-shirt at the show- It had "Vampires Suck" on it. Phil wore it Monday to get everyone talking about Twilight than the loss of the BYU football team to Utah. It worked. All the girls went crazy. I think they used to like their coach. Dad's been having a great volleyball season. He comes home happy most days.

Twilight on Thursday at Midnight

Here are some pictures of Maddi and I at the first showing of Twilight at midnight. We had a fun time. Pictures with Edward, T-shirts, and party cake. A lady in my ward bought out the theatre and resold tickets to her friends. I still taught school the next day. Pretty good for me.

What a beautiful day! Dad and Richard put up Christmas lights. Richard was too scared to go the steeper parts of the roof. Dad then climbed up and helped him.

Stan's New Shed

This the the Make In A Weekend project....except it took all the Fall's weekends. It looks huge. Great project Stan! All he has left now is to paint and put trim boards. Congrats on your new baby and new shed. Now you have some place to go when you are in the dog house.

Dance Competition at BYU November

We had a great weekend. The three boys danced amazingly. Bob stole the hearts of the crowd and judges and came home with 2 first place trophies, one third place trophy, and a fourth place ribbon. Richard danced Open Junior and looked great, but the judges must not have seen him. James was super great. His place in line was fourth in Youth Latin. They had three rounds of dancing..so that was great. In Youth Standard he got fourth. He really did a great job. His partners look beautiful. He danced in both Standard and Latin Amateur levels also. Grandma came to the Saturday night session to watch for the last time. I talk about dancing with her and I'm happy she got to see her grandchildren dance.

Richard Scout Stuff

We found some older pictures on Phil's phone of Richard doing scouting. This weekend, he loved his Pow Wow class on the Space Exploration merit badge. Dad took a movie of the group shooting off rockets. He is a great scout.
