We have been flying from one place to another. We first started in a week-ago Monday and by Tuesday night we were in Navuoo. We saw 2 productions that night and then in the morning we went to all the different homes. It was amazing. I loved everyones testimonies after the tours.
Then we drove to Gettysburg...they have a new visitors center with great movies, painting, and displays. Then we drove around the sites. Camping that night in Maryland.
The next morning we went to Washington DC...we really did enjoy visiting the tomb on the unknown soldier. That tour was very good.
By night we made it almost to Philly. Philedephia in the morning, the statue of liberty by afternoon. It was very very late Saturday night we drove into Vermont.
We have been enjoying our time with Grandma and three of Phil's brothers. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Palmyra, NY. We have a cemetery we want to visit to find some family stones on Grandma McShinsky's side.
We pick up Mike and James at the airport tomorrow.

James mission call to Paraguay!

One happy boy with his mission call that he carried around all day at Pearl's conference! We waited for Mike to get finished with one of his finals...and then he didn't come to Grandpa's house, but he drove home!..ha...well, we waited until he came back down. It was fun. Dawn was on the phone, and she googled the country right away. James spent the morning looking at pictures from the country. He is very pleased. Thanks Maddi for the pics.

Working on a Cemetery Project with Diana
We went and took pictures of headstones today to see how long it takes to do one section of the graveyard. It was fun. It took around 45 minutes. Then we made a blog for the community to visit. see at oceanviewcemetery.blogspot.com

We drove to some historic sites with Lewis and Clark. Diana is a great cook and we had a great crepes for breakfast. I hope all is well at home.

To Oregon/Cumorah we go
School is out! About time! Phil, grandpa, and Richard are going to Oregon for a week. Bob will go to 11 year old Boy Scout camp. Mike got a partner, and is getting his new routines with James waiting for his call. I am flying to Oregon to visit an old friend High School friend who gave me a plane ticket to Portland. Around the 19th we are leaving for Cumorah. Fun times for this summer.
We had a fun birthday party for Richard friday night. I know, he was born in July. He begged for a party, because he never had one for reasons...like we run away every summer. It was great! Maddi made a bonfire cake...that when lite looks like a fire. Thanks! Thirty-five 6th graders were running everywhere. We had a bonfire, movie on the big screen sheet, batting cage, swings, volleyball, and food. Everyone was so happy. Now Bob wants a party! ha
