School Egypt project for Richard

Richard has been working on his Egypt project for 3 days. We started with the material you make a plaster cast of and I helped him to mold his face. Then he added a toilet paper facial hair chin and added more plaster. It has been drying. Then tonight he began the painting. First is is all gold. He is having a blast.

Bob's reflection contest poem about George

My pal, My comrade

George, my pal, is rising to a new altitude,
Eating and sleeping puts him in an enjoyable mood.
He began to grow in the month of December,
Chow was required to keep a well-behaved temper.
As a miniature lad he slurped milk, using his head,
Sleeping like a sloth, he expanded in his bed.
Week after week, he got bigger, and bigger,
Bouncing, jumping, running, he is full of vigor.
Each day he grows taller and stronger,
For his days as a little tot are no longer.
His horizon is approaching, right above his brain,
George, my comrade, will wow the world with his fame.

Novocherkassk Russia-Mike's Missionary Town

Mike says that everything is going great in Russia. His new companion is Elder Behunin from Kaysville, Utah. He played baseball with Elder Smoot. They are working hard and finding good people to teach. He talked about President Monson coming and talking to all Russians and Eastern Europe. Mike ended with encouraging us to become more spiritual.
The picture is a view of Novocherkassk. The catheral is the 3rd largest in Russia and in his little town.

Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun! Here is a pic of Rich and Bob at Harmons next to a Soda Can display. Then there is Rich with his candy from last night in a big plastic pumpkin. Too much candy...but they love it. They had lots of fun eating and trick-or-treating.
